Yesterday, March 15, 2023, Vanuatu Women’s Center kicked off its mobile counseling program in evacuation centers around Port Vila Town. The team led by VWC’s Community Educator and several other staff gave their first awareness presentation at Club Hippique in the Green Hill area.
A total of 125 women from five different zones turned out for this awareness event, followed by the sharing of relief supplies by VWC with the women affected. Awareness was given about domestic violence, Vanutu Women’s Center Services, and other forms of Domestic Violence, especially during disaster times, along with brochures and other informational pamphlets.
